Sample handling

BumbleBee

Your hit list, picked into new plates.

Screening hands you a list of selected wells. BumbleBee picks them into new plates at down to 2.5 seconds per pick, and you exchange source and destination plates while it keeps pipetting. See pick times

How it works

Keep samples moving.
Keep plates accessible.

When the next plate cannot wait for the last batch, BumbleBee keeps your sample deck accessible. Independent channels and rotating sample translators support transfers between selected wells for hit picking, normalization and sample preparation.

  • Choose from one to sixteen independent channels.
  • Exchange source and destination plates during pipetting.
  • Work with 96-, 384- and 1536-well plates and supported tube racks.
